A one-day program designed to offer the latest developments in hearing loss prevention will be held on Thursday, October 28 at Wayne State University in Detroit. The conference is sponsored by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA), and the Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences Department of Wayne State University with partnership support from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOHSA), Michigan Industrial Hygiene Society, the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), the National Safety Council, the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE), and the Douglas A. Fraser Center for Workplace Issues.
